YES — and here’s why it matters.

DOES DRYNESS CAUSE FRIZZ & STATIC

YES — and here’s why it matters.

Excessive heat from styling tools can strip hair of its natural moisture, weaken internal protein bonds, and damage the cuticle layer. Once the cuticle becomes rough and porous, hair loses its ability to retain hydration.

Porous hair absorbs humidity from the air, causing the shaft to swell and the cuticle to lift — and that’s when frizz and static take over. If the cuticle is already compromised, this cycle can escalate into breakage, making it even harder to achieve a smooth, polished finish.

HOW TO REDUCE & PREVENT FRIZZ + STATIC

Choose shampoos and conditioners that state HYDRATE the hair, plus a low pH.  Hydration helps restore softness and reduce static. Low pH helps close the cuticle and seals the hydration in the hair.

Turn down the heat. Extremely hot dryers, hot air brushes and irons are major contributors to dryness and frizz.

Be mindful with chemical services. Colour, lighteners, and other treatments can increase porosity, leading to dehydration, frizz, and static if not balanced with proper care.

A SMARTER WAY TO STYLE

The HOTHEADS® hairbrush is engineered to combat heat‑induced Dryness, Frizz and Static with three breakthrough technologies:

• CAPTIVE ENDS®

Channels airflow evenly over and around the barrel, improving control while minimizing frizz.

• 3D BRISTLE PATTERN™

A strategic blend of natural black boar, white boar, and flexible nylon bristles creates a protective cushion that prevents hair from direct contact with the hot barrel, reducing direct heat exposure.

• THERMAL CONDUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY™

Moderates heat, accelerates cooling, and helps lock in a smoother, longer‑lasting blow‑dry.

THE RESULT

With HOTHEADS®, hairbrushes you’re not just styling — you’re protecting.

Say goodbye to Dryness, Frizz and Static, and hello to a Healthier, Beautiful Hair.
